I was going to label every Picture but this Blog did not want to work the way I wanted it to. I do not have the patience to mess with it today so I am just going to write a little paragraph!
This was Christmas in Illinois. We had a lot of fun. We went to the White family's house for Christmas Breakfast and Dinner. They are just like family. We love them really a lot. Laura the daughter is such a nice Person and Libby the Mother is warm and friendly and welcomed me into the family from the first day I met her. Lloyd the father is just a hoot! I also got to meet Lloyd's mother and father who are just darling! We had a lot of fun exchanging presents and eating until we thought we were going to pass out.
They have 3 dogs, Ally, Sophie and Diego who is a new addition to the family! Ally loves Christmas presents and carries them around in her mouth until she is allowed to open them! Too funny.
The trip to IL was okay until we stopped in St. Robert, Missouri to catch some shut I! OMG! It was so freezing cold! 6 degrees ( -16 degrees c). I thought I was going to die. I never in my Life had so many Layers of clothes on as I did that night when I took the dogs out! Daphne looked at me like I was nuts wanting to her go pee in that cold! Scooby is more trained in that area! He was in and out!
On the way back to El Paso we drove 21 hours straight and the last few hours I just wanted to cry. I thought we would never make it! We finally say the Lights of EL Paso and got a second win! How little did we know that it was at least another hour before we reached El Paso! The dogs were glad to be home, because they had their yard back and were running like crazy!
New Mexico had a lot of snow when we drove through and I was afraid that El Paso was just as cold. When we got to El Paso the temperatures were back in the 2 digits. They had 2 bad Storms here. I had a ton of red Sand in my house. The front Patio had little red sand dunes on it! Oh yeah I had fun cleaning all that up!
