The Texan Tarantula!
The pictures below were taken in our backyard. We have a Tarantula living in our wall! Nice huh? I was inside the house and Bob called me to look at this big spider. I was thinking "Gosh how big can it be, we had plenty of those in Germany". He said, you can see it from the Patio! Holy shit, I went out and saw the thing. I was speechless. Bob tried to get it to climb over the wall into the next yard by spraying water on it. Well it did not like that too much so it lifted up his front 2 legs. I told Bob that I think that is a sign that it will attack. So we took some steps back. After a while it crawled back into his hole in the wall. It is very unusual that they come out during the day! How comforting! NOT! They should sleep at night.

Females lay 100 to 1,000 eggs...
Oh wie ecklig, hab Gänsehaut bekommen... brrrr
Gruss
